Subject: Old City of Jerusalem
Shalom,
I took a new friend for a tour in the old city yesterday. That was her first time being there. We saw the Garden Tomb, Zedekiah's Cave, the Austrian Hospice (has an amazing view of the rooftops of the old city, underneath the Sister's of Zion Convent (The Game of Kings is carved on some pavement stones there), Lion's Gate, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, on top of the same church, and back to the Garden Tomb.
On top of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre there is a very large cistern with a very strong echo. I slipped on the steps there and broke my camera. My hand was only hurt a little bit. Thank God that was all. I may have to buy a new camera, I don't think fixing it is an option. In the meantime, another friend said that I could borrow her camera if I needed to. Over all, it was a good day. Thank God.

One place we saw was where Jesus was supposed to be held in prison. It was owned by the Greek Orthodox Church, if I remember correctly. She said that that place was creepy. If it is God's will, I will show her more of the Old City next Tuesday. There is a lot more for me to see as well.
