|Psalm 53 (2) God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. (3) Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. I John 4 (10) Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (14) And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. (15) Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. KJV

That We Might Live
Go out some time on a star-specked night,|
and behold the glory of moon and stars.
Knowest thou not, that these are as nothing
before him who made them all?
So what are we to God above,
to him that formed us of the dust?
We live and die upon the earth,
but have not sought the Lord.
Why then did God come down to earth,
in Jesus Christ his Son?
To seek his sheep, all lost in sin,
and bring us back to him?
God hath loved us, that is why;
he sent his Son to earth,
To take man's sin upon himself,
and pay the price for us.
The wages of our sin is death,
and that is what he took for all.
So Jesus Christ laid down his life,
that we might henceforth live.
Yet death could not hold Jesus,
for Jesus Christ is God.
And he arose, he conquered death,
and gave life unto men.
So come unto the Lord,
and call upon his name.
That ye might live eternally,
with Jesus Christ our King.
